Wig Measurement
Q. How long does a medical / cosmetic wig last?

A. The lifespan of a wig depends on how often you wear it; with proper care our medical wig can last up to a year or longer. We advise you to buy at least 2 at a time, which will allow less wear and tear on one wig. Cosmetic wigs are less delicate than a medical wig – DCC wigs can last several years, however the lace may need to get replaced after 6 months to a year.

Q. What is the best way to care for your medical / cosmetic wig?

  1. Always brush and comb your wig daily to keep it free from tangles.
  2. Do not shampoo / condition too often – we recommend every 7 to 14 days.
  3. Use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioners
  4. Do not overheat with flatiron / curling irons. Set heat to 400 degrees or below.
  5. When not wearing your wig, place it on a Styrofoam wig head to help keep the shape.
